Copa was commissioned to create the official logo of Vernon Davis, football superstar, bay area legend, Super Bowl champion, and one of the best Tight Ends in NFL History.
This was been one of our most intense projects to date as Mr. Davis is widely known worldwide. Expectations were high. The full project consisted of creating something unique and personal to Vernon. The implementation consisted of the official logo launch, official typeface, and style guide. After review, Vernon loved the logo and it is now ’his’ logo and one which will be known worldwide soon.

As diverse as Mr. Davis was on the field is he off the field. Excellence is the only option. Therefore his logo needed to reflect this diversity and to be able to transcend and cross multiple consumer lines. From sports, to business, and even casual lines, Vernon's logo hits every mark.

Vernon Davis is an American football tight end for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Maryland before being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers sixth overall in the 2006 NFL Draft.
In 2015, Davis was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he won Super Bowl 50 with the team over the Carolina Panthers.
The following season, he signed with his hometown Washington Redskins. Off the playing field, he has a deep passion for business and building economic solutions in his immediate community.
